No Hope = No Chance.

This video was produced by a group called the UK Youth Climate Coalition. The coalition has banded together to spread awareness and establish global changes that will overcome the environmental challenges. This video recaps their visit to Copenhagen for COP15 and, in my opinion, says all the right things.

They point out that the leaders at COP15 are in pursuit of their own individual interests and failed to address climate change. But what is more important is that the video also focuses on what was achieved–for a period of two weeks the entire planet was focused on the subject of the environment. Accomplishments like this should be recognized. The event stirred the public’s conscience and challenged us to question environmental accountability of our leaders and ourselves.

I believe that there is a revolution stirring. This video and more over at UKYCC are an example of how the youth are motivated to over initiate positive change (visit their site here and you’ll see). This energy and momentum is a further indication that we are entering a very exciting decade. We could very look back at as the ten years that spawned the global environmental revolution and returned balance to the planet’s climate.
