GOOD TO GO……
The bags are packed and I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. I don’t think any of us know exactly what the next 4 weeks holds, but one thing is certain….it will be a bloody great adventure!

Stationed out on Arno Atoll – part of the Marshall Islands, in the middle of the Pacific ocean, on one of the most remote locations in the world. And the best thing about it (besides rumours of amazing surfing and fishing) is we’re documenting something real that will affect all of us in our lifetime. And pardon the Global Warming pun, but that is the tip of the iceberg in comparison to the implications to our children, and their children.
So Jeff Wilson and I have enjoyed the last piece of red meat I expect to eat in a while, compliments of the Outback Steakhouse in Honolulu. We are flying out tomorrow morning to meet up with Freddy and Justin who have both been charming the pants off the locals for the past week. Shauno can’t drag himself away from Tarawa but rumour has it a Thursday arrival for the man is imminent.
The camera and recording equipment is packed, along with a pair of thongs (I will not say “flip-flops”), and high hopes. We’ve got the story we’re out there trying to tell, and I’m sure we’ll incur a few of our own along the way.
And if your swinging past the Marshall Islands in the coming month please drop in for the best fresh fish and pina coladas (I wish!) this side of Hawaii.
Peace!
Paul Sonntag.
